attended Sony Alpha basic photography workshop with Eddy last Saturday, had a nice lecture by John from Sony Malaysia. the workshop got better when we met our model of the day. so freaking tall! o.O almost taller than me. she was wearing a super duper short kimono and she didnt wear safety pants =.=

anyway, a big thank you to Sony Malaysia for organising free workshops and also for the free printing of two photos in 8R size. my first ever work got printed out ^^

attended Prewedding Portrait Workshop organised by Film and Photography Society of MMU Cyberjaya. it started off well with talk from three speakers Edwin Tan, Paul Kong and Joshua Teoh. after the talk we went out for some shooting. bad news -> raining. GG. strong wind blew all the rain drops to us. my alpha zai not weather proof ler how to shoot T.T

my group speaker was Paul Kong and all the shooting was done indoor =.= alpha zai ISO performance so bad how to shoot~ no one was using flash so i dare not use mine >.< in the end shot all the pictures in black and white xD

anyway it was a nice workshop, just that the weather is bad

went to orphanage home last Saturday with Care Club. took a few pictures, it was damm hard to take picture indoor because the place was kinda small and there were a lot of kids and participants from MMU. so moving around was not easy.

invited Monkeys for a yumcha session and what i can say is almost all of them were shocked to see me inviting them =.= i know i didnt invite you all for some time already.... my bad.

dinner on hill top to movie at Pavillion in 24 hours. wee~ ^^

i know the second day was a bit disappointing due to... you know.. something painful. that was one of the most terrifying moment. felt like an ambulance driver.

bon odori was more like bonding activity, nothing much to see, 95% kimono girls were Malaysia =.=
queued for takoyaki but sold out before i can reach the stall. was so scared that you will faint >.< so damm crowded!! and we spend more time in the car trying to find our way out lol.

went RC binding trip last weekend as a photographer? not really... as a senior to support the event will be more accurate.

45 mins to play each game? siau r! we pay to play and why some of us did not get the chance to play? and there was no explanation from you! grr~

same problem occurred: a few international student went MIA doing their own stuff. they think that all the activities we prepared for them are boring or childish. maybe this is just a clash of culture problem.

i think the best part of the trip will be the time when they try durian xD happy moment, everyone gave their best to open each durian and share ^^

few hours before binding trip, went to Quattro to celebrate Wai Loon's birthday. after that his girlfriend asked me if i know her cousin which is studying in MMU as well. too bad i dont know. the funny part is there was this girl that join the binding trip is actually the sister of Wai Loon's girlfriend's cousin. how small can this world be o.O

kinda relief for the first time this week. maybe i am just noob enough for creating stress myself. is all down to the same old reason: i care too much.

there were two parties asking me to do two different thing. they might be right but i just cant do both at the same time, they were the other way round of each other.

before last week it was all nice and smooth.... of course there will be reasons behind all this and i am trying to make myself feels better by taking all possibilities into account.

result was released this afternoon. i was quite scared if i am honest. not because i might fail but it was all about the gred i will be getting. FYP <-- 8 credit hours 0.0

so in the end, i saw the result. it appeared on the first page once i clicked "Achievement" surprisingly o.O because normally we have to click view full transcript to check out result.

anyway back to the story. SHOCKED, thats the best word to describe the moment i knew my result. i actually checked more than twice lol. because i really can not believe it. you might say i "lansi" or smug, i dont care. the thing is, i really dont deserve that kinda gred >.< you can call me lucky bastard if you want to.

1. send alpha zai's lens to repair, RM20 as deposit which is not refundable =.= and then labor cost will be RM150 and repair cost + spare part cost = unknow...yet. GG get a new lens better

2. my monitor died before the sem break. so have to buy another one. spend money again =.= this time at least RM300~

hei peeps! went missing for few days getting drunk at P. Langkawi xD with VAD R. actually none of us was drunk. someone wanted to get drunk but failed, even if he did everyone was sleeping lol.

lets summarize the trip;

1. started from Cyberjaya -> Ipoh -> Kuala Kedah -> P. Langkawi -> Kuala Kedah -> Bukit Mertajam -> Ipoh -> Dengkil -> Cyberjaya (kinda long o.O all in 4 days 3 nights)

2. this trip, macam-macam ada. got road block (twice), not enough petrol to reach destination (also twice), car pool police car for petrol etc etc

3. we started with a light car and heavy wallet, came back with heavy car and light wallet.

4. scandal..................... dont want to talk bout this xD

this might be the last trip with VAD R, of course none of us hope it will be the last one, hopefully there will be another trip in October

i would like to thank all VAD R's member for joining this trip and also thank you for recruiting me as a member of VAD R =) we will meet up whenever fate brings us together again. until then good luck and all the best, and take care everybody!

almost five years ago. on my 18th birthday (yes first day of class was on 13 June), i stepped into MMU foundation. it was one of the best year ever and most expensive as well, imagine yumcha every night + dim sum + leisure (bowling + movie + futsal + pasar malam) and as well the travel cost back to hometown. another thing is Malacca campus is alot better than Cyber's where Malacca campus is pack and small, thus you can meet friends almost everywhere you go xD too bad it was only one year and we were separated by two states. i cant really express in words how much i miss that year.

Cyberjaya, actually is not a bad place to live. apart from the lack of pork! i mean chinese food and the heat, everything is fine here. spent four years here. from a noob to less-noob-abit. i really learned a lot in this four years not just in academic but the way of life. appreciate what's in front of you especially friend. losing a friend is not really a good call. i know getting a new one is easy but then is just not the same person.

anyway i gtg now. haha xD maybe i will continue sometime later. so enjoy your life guys! i dont know when we will be meeting soon but im sure one day we will =) good luck and all the best! god bless!

wohoo~ presented my part 2 of the FYP. the respond from both supervisor and moderator was surprisingly good? o.O , i thought i will be dead this time because i failed to build the whole thing. 12 hours before presentation found out that the PCB boards made earlier were all wrong. during that time, i redo the whole PCB board in less than 2 hours. the fastest ever xD special thanks to Kok Boon and Irene for the help. without both of you im doomed.

celebrated new year @ Singapore. supposed to celebrate @ Esplanade but then got stucked. cant get over to the Merlion. went back to some place nearby our hostel then randomly celebrated with some Singaporean xD

before new year i was on a journey to the west starting from Malacca with VAD R

it was a walk to remember. from day 1 we walked till the very last day. budget vacation ma, apa boleh buat.

current plan is i follow VAD R to JB until 26 then i come back myself to KL for the xmas party. sounds good to me but im not sure if it works.

got my FYP title. nothing related to aerospace or plane and stuff. just normal usb controller. sounds simple but i donno where to start. met my supervisor Dr. R. Logeswaran, such a nice lecturer. told him my idea(s). everything seems to be working or i should say acceptable by my supervisor but idea is 1 thing, trying to build it is another thing. selecting microcontroller and other hardware is easy, but selecting the right one is the biggest problem. even if i got the right chip, i might not know how to link them together with other chip or hardware component. some juz cant get the title they want, for example Jason and Bra. while some just cant get a partner like me =.= all the interesting titles require two or more students. to make thing worse, some lectures are on leaves until Thursday =.= FYP title due friday. the F~!

i went to Singapore on the 12 till 15 Oct with MMU IET student Chapter as part of the ILEAP program. we were accompanied by lecturer name Mr. Bryan Ng (Wong in chinese).

staying in the same room with a lecturer was fun. as a lecturer of course he knew much more than us as a student and also stuffs that we were not suppose to know? xD seriously we talked/shared alot during the 4 days in Singapore and im missing it =p dont think we can be that close when we meet each other in campus. hope there will be another trip with you sir ^^

Thank you Shaynee and Su for organising the trip. Shaynee was so scared when we were looking for our hostel. rofl xD talking bout hostel, it was superb. thumbs up!

went there to see "leng lui" rofl xD actually to snap some pictures for the photography contest. just trying, no harm =p well i was not the only one there trying to get the best spot for the shot.

all with big big cannon and flash, bully me =.=

went home with 2k pictures. now im suffering, trying to filter out unwanted pictures T.T

anyway during the night of the same day, went out wit Bubu again and we played candle & lantern with Kok Hong, Poh Yee and two of her friends.

so ITP ended. four months working life just ended and new semester is coming along with FYP. im excited for FYP but then now im missing those days where i was complaining bout, working.

anyway, away for most of the day since the end of ITP enjoying myself because is HOLIDAY!!

went movie in the afternoon with Bryan, Wang Ying, Glenn and his girlfriend Rachel at Alamanda. we watched Tsunami at Haeundae. very nice movie. this movie will kinda twist your emotion. when you are about to cry you will burst into laughter. too bad i dint cry =p or i should say i cant cry -.-

at night suddenly Kok Boon called for a movie @.@ this time at Sunway with Irene, Alex, John. We were late, supposed to watch Perfect Getaway. in the end me and Alex watched Far Cry while the other three watched Where Got Ghost.

Saturday - Jeff came to KL. when i asked how come he suddenly went all the way here, Ming Wei answered "no puasa de ma." =.= what kinda answer was that! anyway we went for movie Where Got Ghost @ Pavillion. not a bad movie after all.

then we went Low Yat to check out the prices of the hardware needed by Ming Wei for his HTPC(Home Theater PC. before that we hang out near the Pavillion fountain to take some pictures then 2 ladies came to us and asked us if we can help them to take a picture of them with the fountain. i forgot what happened and we got to know that both of them were MMU students xD what a small world.

checked out alot stuff in Low Yat, then Jeff started to not feeling well and it was the first time he cant finish his dinner lol! after two cups of herbal tea he seems to be back to normal and we were off to KLCC!

had a fun time snapping pictures. last stop "Mini Genting", not LookOut Point! thats the fake one!

Sunday - went Taman Connaught for dim sum. then off to Low Yat again.

10am, supervisor came and said "jom gi makan, lupakan kerja." got stunned xD went Hassan for breakfast. thank you Azmil for the meal!!

2pm, lunch! got into Zaf's car. everyone was asking each other where to eat. unexpectedly we went to Alamanda for lunch. since we got supervisor with us, he can cover our ass xD
suddenly, supervisor said "ei ada cerita apa yang best sekarang?" he was like asking us to watch a movie. lol. thank you Mr Hasri for the lunch @ Nando's!

back to office at 4pm, online abit, did some coding.... 5 sumthing, supervisor "jom balik."

reached home, got a phone call from colleague Zaf, "i accident dekat Domain" o.O i got stunned for the second time today. went to the scene with Wei Young. thank god she is fine. accompanied her until her uncle and other friends reached the scene. while waiting i was playing CSI with Wei Young, because the position of the car and the tire marking on the road just dont fit together. pictures are in my phone, lazy to post now =p

anyway, im grateful that you are fine Zaf and sorry bout your car. and thank you Wei Young for your time and the ride.

first day of work after Raya, overslept =.= woke up at 9.15am. supposed only three person include me will be turning up for work today but got a sms from my colleague saying she wont be able to make it. so only TWO person in the office today. suddenly got a call from my supervisor asking me to go over to MDeC/MSC opposite DHL to fix the server -.- i thought i can stay in office and relax for the whole day. anyway, talking bout this server thing, i almost wanted to smack the monitor using the keyboard. first the sever was full of viruses =.= pop up windows of virus detected were annoying. then the internet was slow. worst = the server just wont work! restarted over and over again. wasted at least 2 hours sitting in front of that server. by the way thank you Mr Azmil for helping me fixing the server and Irma for the ride.

went lunch with Kevin and Kok Boon. Wanted to ask Irene to tapau me something from Alamanda. at first i thought she went there for lunch, actually she went there to jalan-jalan + movie. WTF!!! it was during working hours!!

went back office and wrote a report bout fixing the stupid server. chatted with Irene bout FYP.... then "pang kang!" before 5pm xD

2 more weeks until the end of my Industrial Training. 4 months, just like that, gone...over... im pretty sure i will miss them, my colleagues. some of them already left and currently im the only chinese in the office =p

after these 2 weeks im off for a month of holiday!!! my first one month holiday since Alpha first semester. will be going Singapore on 12 Oct with IET student chapter. just hope that i got enough money to spend, spend and SPEND! xD

a lot of things got stucked in my mind recently, seriously a lot. productivity during office hour dropped to around 10%.

then went to Pavilion. at 7pm went searching for food. but then i forgot one thing, FASTING. omg, every restaurant was full, i said FULL! i wanted to eat Carl's Jr but i cant. guess what, i went pavilion and had dinner at Old Town.

shopping! was looking for ankle guard/sleeve. first stop Adidas, they only got one type and i dont like it =p next Nike, found! but only got size S, W T *tooot~*

it was this morning, the funeral. sorry Ashlei, that i cant attend the funeral. supposed to attend but i failed. i dont know why i got this strong feeling that i must attend. i was so stress figuring out ways to attend. almost took a day off from work, almost tried to offer money for someone, or anyone just to bring me there. but everything just didnt work.

i wonder why.

EOS vs Alpha

i started to dislike Alpha...a bit. because of the lens. i was using Jiok Min's 500D during the trip to Penang last week. back home then i tried my sis's Alpha 200. picture quality, for sure 500D will be better since Alpha 200 is just a starter DSLR which i can say a different category. something like comparing a GeForce 250 with GeForce 295 xD

anyway back to the story, i noticed the difference between the lens of the Canon's and the Sony's which is the factor why im posting this! lol

the number 1 for focus ring, number 2 for zoom ring

from the picture you can see that the gap between the 2 rings. Canon's gap is much more smaller than the Alpha's. which make it more user friendly? to make thing worse, the following pictures are the basic lens which comes together with the Alpha 200

finger not long enough leh... this lens can make you mad >.< why cant they just fix the focus ring location??? WHY???

its only the first week puasa and im dying already. working time is kinda longer than ever although it ends one hour earlier. i tried not to say anything bout food, but they were the one asking me bout food, lol.

i tried to turn to the side when i want to drink some water, but then those from the back can still see me =.=

had a superb, full weekend. all bout food food food, and also meeting my ex-housemates back in Malacca. from Ipoh to Penang, from Penang to Bidor. set off at 5.30am. drove at max speed of 180km/h, average speed 140 km/h....i guess

first stop, Ipoh... dim sum @ Foh San. very cheap! RM54 for 4 ppl. but we got cheated by the auntie pushing the dim sum trolley.

3pm - cendol + asam laksa.... got cheated again! the waiter ordered us cendol from the wrong stall and then charged us extra 50sen! KNN!

5.30pm - TAO japanese buffet @ E-Gate. RM40++ per-pax. must try! better than Jogoya! actually i nvr been to Jogoya also lmao!

12am - tong sui...if im not wrong the shop name Leng Lui(pretty girl) Tong sui, i donno where, that time i was fishing in the car. woke up, eat, then continue fishing...

next day, GG. rained whole day. went Lorong Selamat for "cha kuey tiaw" closed. want to buy Him Hiang Tau Sha Pneah, closed also. bought 1 box from Ghee Hiang. went for "cha kuey tiaw" @ Sister Cha Kuey Tiaw.

after "cha kuey tiaw" continued to search for food. Hokkien mee (prawn mee) all closed, nothing to eat, we went to eat chicken rice @ Fatty Loh =.= went Penang for chicken rice? written on the billboard "Malaysia top 10 chicken rice". i dont see any thing special that made it to the top 10.

around 3pm we started our journey to Bidor for duck mee!

something happened before and after we ate duck mee...
before we exit to Bidor we saw a lorry with ducks at the back. when we were eating duck mee, we saw the same lorry passed by the shop. on the way back to K.L we saw another two lorries carrying ducks....quite scary....

anyway for those in Cyberjaya, if you want Tau Sha Pneah or "little chicken" biscuit, dun paiseh, just let me know

kinda nervous because the system will be used by Billadam Europe Limited....i think. which is not local, so their expectation will be high i guess..... god bless me.

good news and bad news....

the bad will always the best to kick start. i rejected the All-America Rejects! sorry to say that. sis called me this afternoon to ask if i want to go to the MTV World Stage this coming saturday.. dont think so. first, in order to get the ticket you have to buy the album, not really a problem but then 1 album = 1 ticket, how many you want me to buy? how many cd player you think i have?? then transportation will be another problem since my 2nd sis wont be going PLUS H1N1 getting serious =.=

now for the good news! i got my lcd monitor at work!!

recently in office... kinda busy with the task given.. the system is almost complete but the little part left is the big problem.... sorry to my supervisor that i work slow.

im trying my best to get the system done by this week!

i would like to thank Dr Shima for helping me in taking off my name from the list for the interview by external examiner tomorrow. Thank you very much!!! i seriously cant do it, i can hardly prepare myself for that. some of you might think im useless, rubbish, stupid....etc etc. im pulling out not because im scare of the interview or being interview. the thing is this interview's outcome will not only affect me but also MMU, course mates and my juniors. do understand the situation. if you still want to call me that than is up to you. your mind, your thinking, your mouth, i cant control them.

another weekend ending soon. tiring but fun weekend with VAD R.

Friday.. dinner at Serdang Curry mee, too bad x-men kid was not there. after dinner .....kinda random.... we bought longan and langsat, went to the Putra lake and started jamming+singing+longan/langsat in our mouth. crazy dudesss. there were ppl fishing nearby and we were so noisy there. too much longan >.< lucky no fever.

Saturday.. started with meeting seniors during the convocation, gratz to all of you and keep in touch! dinner ->> Jalan Aloh beef noodle!! even our eyes were full!! washed eyes at Pavillion!! before that "lawatan sambil belajar" at Starhill washroom =.=

continue .... ice kacang and cendol at Kepong. Burp~~~ 12am eat ice >.<

Sunday ..... got a call early in the morning =.=

SOP : they say go eat dim sum
me : now what time? (blur, baru wake up)

me : what time they want to go?

went to Axian Dim Sum.... the food not bad... mostly got prawn inside. after that off to convo again. Gratz to my ex-housemate! Ah Guan. we will miss u!! gratz to all my FIT friends too.
next plan for the day.. bowling at Alamanda but full =.=

i just dont like it when you tell me to do A and then tell me to stop and start doing B. yes i can do it but i dont like it !!! im not working alone, i work in a team and you just pull me out and throw me a task. sure the team can work without me but i will be left behind....

anyway just hope that i can finish the system tomorrow. grr~

today kinda bad luck... early morning diarrhea then office internet went crazy... having pms i guess. then after lunch, got a call from FOE office saying that im selected to be interview by some external examiner from German. oh god >.< why pick me? im not even a first class student and im currently on ITP.
